Al Doge is a lively seafood and pizza spot in the center of Grado, where the tables are nicely set and the atmosphere stays relaxed even during the busy season. Regulars return year after year, drawn by the fresh local fish and the hands-on owner, Tiziano, who often comes by the table to help with recommendations. The room has a family feel, with staff who speak several languages and even brought water for a diner’s dog without being asked. Gluten free versions of the pizza are available here, and the kitchen turns out excellent seafood plates alongside them.
