ベジ Vege DELI sits inside Sumiyoshitaisha Station, a small café with a handful of tables made from repurposed school desks. The cheerful, calm room opens onto Sumiyoshi Park, and many diners grab their order to go for a picnic right across the street. Staff are known for their warmth, taking time to explain ingredients, fold origami for guests, and chat in English, French, or Japanese.
