Brooklyn Carreta Bar & Carts is a food cart pod off McLoughlin Boulevard in Portland, built on the site of a beloved former landmark. The space wraps around a central courtyard with an open skylight, bringing natural light onto tables both indoors and out. A long wooden bar, a fire pit, a game room with pinball and pool tables, and a small kids’ play area give the pod the feel of a neighborhood hangout. Families, dogs, and groups spread across the many seating options while the roll-up doors open the bar room to the patio.
