Cafe Pepper sits on the second floor of its building, its name painted on the wall above and reachable only by a set of stairs tucked behind the structure. The stairway itself is so popular that the line to get in can form right there, and the small interior, decorated with a homey, plant-filled charm, was soon packed with customers after it opened. Alongside the coffee, the dessert case is full of choices, and gluten free versions of the cake and tarts are available.
