Lady Glaze Doughnuts is a vibrant, colourful spot in Belmont Village, where the long, narrow room is bright with lights and a vintage throwback vibe, with the bakery on one side and seating on the other. It is a busy place, full of people grabbing takeout or enjoying their doughnuts and coffee in-house, and the staff are patient and kind. The doughnuts are made right in the store, and gluten free versions of the Apple Fritter and Beavertail Pie are available. The shop is well-known for its ever changing, creative flavours, like the Beavertail Pie with coconut shavings, dark chocolate drizzle, and banana chips, and diners say the dough itself has a perfect texture, airy and light yet substantial enough to hold up to the generous toppings.
