In Ames, Lockwood Cafe comes up often in diner reviews. The setting gets its own mentions: art for sale on the walls, local art on the walls and a laid-back room. The practical picture from reviews: a neighborhood favorite, a brunch rush and a breakfast crowd. Gluten free versions of the crepes come up in review after review.
