The badge reflects your current classification and changes if that changes. If your listing is removed, the badge stops rendering.
GFMapper may withdraw permission to display the badge.

Common questions

Does any of this cost anything?: No. Your listing and the badge are free, and always will be. We do not charge restaurants for placement and you cannot pay to change how you are classified.
Do I need an account?: No. Everything on this page works without one. If you would like to sign up, use an email at your restaurant's own address (hello@yourrestaurant.com) rather than a personal one. That is how we will know it is you when we add owner tools, so you will be able to keep your hours, menu and details up to date yourself.
Where does your information come from?: Public sources: your own website and menu, and what diners report after visiting. Every classification is checked by a person before it is published.
How do I correct my details, or come off the map?: Email us. Writing from an address at your restaurant's own domain is the quickest way for us to confirm it is you. We will take a listing down on request.
Is the badge a certification?: No. It says only that you are listed on GFMapper. It is not an approval, an endorsement or an inspection, and it should not be described as one.
