Mastin Vecchio sits inside a medieval stone building in the narrow Via Dante Alighieri alley of Gradara, just steps from the castle walls. Diners can eat in a garden looking up at the fortress walkway and a small tower, or in warm, brick-furnished rooms lit by candles that carry the village's old-world character. The terrace stays breezy even in summer, and the staff keeps the atmosphere welcoming for everything from anniversary dinners to family gatherings.
