Restaurant Gys Utrecht sits about a fifteen minute walk from the city centre, in a spot where the terrace catches the shade and the scent of jasmine along the Amsterdamse Straatweg. The dining room is calm and tidy, with staff who are attentive and efficient, and a menu of creative, vegetable driven dishes that change with a small, shared dining concept. Gluten free versions of the pancakes are available. The terrace is a draw for many, with plenty of shaded spots that make it a pleasant place to sit even on warm days.
