Restaurante Shiitake Fortuna sits just north of La Fortuna, its dining room decorated with a cherry blossom tree at the center and pretty umbrellas overhead. Diners watch people and cars pass by from the patio while rain comes down over the volcano view, and they can park for free right out front. The staff, including owner Allen, welcome guests warmly and are praised for speaking perfect English. Gluten free versions of the pad thai and the wings are available here.
