Stoa, a Lower Haight cocktail bar with a dedicated gluten-free kitchen, is a modern take on the old-fashioned neighborhood hangout, with a hammered tin ceiling and a long bar that fills up fast. Guests order at the counter and then settle in at tables, booths, or the heated outdoor patio, where the vibe stays easygoing even when the room gets busy. The menu leans tapas-style and seasonal, and diners call out the gluten-free mochi donuts and a warm chocolate cake as standouts. The drinks are a draw on their own, with well-balanced cocktails and a thoughtful non-alcoholic list that impresses even the cocktail-averse.

Diners mention gluten-free donuts, cake, tacos and wings.

Amazing bar food! Totally GF tho they don’t go out of their way to say it. Very tasty. Bar does have gluten beer but it can easily be avoided. All food is GF.
