The Pier Cafe and Whisky Den sits at the end of Tobermory’s seafront, right by the CalMac ferry slipway, with tables outside overlooking the colourful harbour and the Isle of Mull sound. The room is a no-frills space with comic book wallpaper, and the warm welcome makes it feel like being invited into someone’s living room. Gluten free versions of the fish and chips are available here, and diners also come for the view of fishing boats coming in and the paddle steamer Waverley pulling up alongside.
