Woodfellas Pizza & Wings, a wood fired pizzeria on State Street in New London, fills a handsome dining room with jazz or cafe music and a relaxed hubbub of families and ferry passengers. Guests order at the counter or through the website and settle in to watch the steady stream of to go orders heading out the door. A small parking lot out front makes it one of the few off street options in the neighborhood, and the staff keeps the clean, comfortable space moving with friendly, attentive service.
